Three officers treated after rescuing dog from fire

DEER PARK, Long Island (WABC) -- Three Suffolk County constabulary officers rushed into a burning location aboriginal Monday greeting to rescue a trapped dog.

The officers responded to a 911 telephone and recovered heavy achromatic fume coming from the location connected Homer Avenue conscionable earlier noon.

A nonmigratory told the officers that a canine and feline were inactive inside.

Officers Zakary Goldbach, Joaquin Castillo and Justin Oshea recovered the canine reunited it with its family.

They continued to hunt for the feline which was capable to safely permission the location connected its own.

The officers were treated for fume inhalation but are said to beryllium doing conscionable fine.

No different injuries were reported.

Arson detectives are investigating the origin of the fire.
